Special skills of a Hungarian Thai masseuse
Anyone who has been to Thailand knows that there is no better thing in the world than traditional Thai massage. For minutes afterwards one feels that he’s walking two feet off the ground. Nowadays there are such salons in Hungary too. The only question is which one to choose. According to several experts, among the Thai healing massage masters living in our country it is actually a Hungarian lady, Monika Karsai who created the Thai massage center where the original aims of this treatment, healing, rebuilding the harmony of body and soul are done on the highest level.

“I spent years in Thailand where the local masters introduced me to the basics of Thai massage. I shall be eternally grateful to my dear Nang Oen mama, who chose me and trained me just like an adopted daughter for years” – says Monika. “Later I obtained all international certificates that have to do with traditional Thai massage at the Wat Pho massage academy in Bangkok. Ever since, I visit new masters each year, so that I can broaden my knowledge. I graduated from the Hungarian Natural Holistic Private University as a health promotion therapist in 2005. Today it has a different name, but I have been cooperating with them as a lecturer in the past ten years as well.”
Shielded by this vast knowledge, the Chi Thai Massage Center has been created at the Istenhegyi Private Clinic to serve as a meeting point for Eastern and Western approaches, one of the most oriental healing traditions with modern medicine – she explains.
Little details created with love (oriental atmosphere, soft music, the exotic scent of incense sticks, candlelight, kind, thoughtful staff, and skilled Thai massage-therapists) help in relaxation. The tailor made massage and the magic of tranquility facilitate the true refreshment of body and soul.
What we are entirely different in from others is that apart from the already well known Thai massage services we are capable of health promotion consultations, putting together tailor made detoxifying, illness prevention, slimming programs as well, and if necessary, providing healing treatments – says Monika, who believes that Thai massage also serves as a tool for diagnostics. In case any organ lesion or illness is suspected during treatment, we recommend through medical examination or various therapies.
In case of health problems, we make health check. Health check is conducted by methods of natural medicine – primarily through the soles. For the first meeting the patients bring the medical diagnosis of their current condition. After the health check we suggest possible treatments in accordance to their problem, as well as other natural therapies and when it’s necessary, we direct them to further doctors. During the talks we get to know the patient. Deeper self-knowledge helps us faster identify the problems of our bodies and souls. By time we’ll be able to treat them as well.
